Engin was born in 1978. In 2003, he graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Cinema and Television.
He started his career as a camera assistant , he assisted well know cinematographers such as Florent Herry, Daniel Bouquet, Rene Richter, Birgit Gudjonsdottir in feature films and commercials
Engin has been working as a Director of Photograph since 2011 and "Antenna" was his feature film that he was the Cinematographer,
