Banu IMSET

She graduated from the Cinema TV Department of Marmara University in Istanbul, 1994 and made Master's degree in Video Production in London,1995. She has worked in different positions in her career from being a director assistant to the director at TV Channel, from being a post-production manager to a producer in production companies.

 

She conducted all foreign affairs including connections with foreign companies, directors, and cinematographers throughout her working life at the commercial sector. Worked with the following directors on a one-to-one basis during production, liaising between production and agency: Devon Dickson, Frederic Tellier, Andreas Shaffer, Steve Beck, Rani Carmelli, Kosta , Michael Baumbruck, Eric Will, Ricardo Paoletti.

 

She produced TV commercials for many international and national brands in Turkey and abroad. She also participated in co-productions in Spain, Serbia, Israel, and USA.

 

She had a chance to work in a digital studio named “Dreambox” as a producer of the shooting of Mapping Project “Conquest of Istanbul, 563rd Anniversary in 2017” and learned about new technology including mapping,VR and AR.

 

She has been working as a project coordinator in the Havas agency Istanbul for the last two years, coordinating Reckitt Benckiser's multicountry "Finish and Vanish" projects to shoot in Turkey for countries such as Russia, France, Italy, England, Australia, Germany, Canada, and Spain.

 

 

After twenty years of knowledge, she wanted to use her extensive experience in finding and suggesting directors, local talents, and studios for the productions in the country or abroad. She set up her agency and represents Director’s and DOP's in Istanbul, Turkey.
